This document is a draft pending legal review. Sections marked “to be completed” require the operating company’s details.
1. Who you are contracting with
IronGames provides game server hosting. The operating entity, its registered address and its company number are to be completed before launch. References to “we”, “us” and “IronGames” mean that entity.
2. The service
We provide a game server instance sized to the plan you buy, a web control panel to manage it, and the network capacity to reach it. Every plan includes the full panel: live console, file access, databases, subusers, scheduled tasks and backups. We do not license the games themselves; where a game requires you to hold a licence or comply with a publisher’s terms, that remains your responsibility.
3. Your account
You are responsible for keeping your credentials secure and for everything that happens under your account, including actions taken by subusers you invite. Tell us promptly if you believe your account has been compromised. We offer two-factor authentication and recommend enabling it.
4. Acceptable use
You may not use a server to attack or disrupt other networks, to send unsolicited bulk messages, to distribute malware, to host content that is unlawful where we operate, or to infringe someone else’s rights. We may suspend a server immediately where it is causing active harm, and will tell you why.
5. Payment and renewal
Plans are prepaid for the billing period you select at checkout. Payments are taken by our payment provider; we do not store your card details. Renewal is automatic unless you cancel, and we will attempt to collect payment on the renewal date. If payment fails, we will retry and notify you before suspending the server.
6. Cancellation and refunds
You can cancel from the panel at any time. The server continues to run until the end of the period you have already paid for, and is not renewed after that. Statutory cancellation and refund rights that apply to you are unaffected by these terms. Our discretionary refund practice is to be completed before launch.
7. Availability
We target 99.9% availability per calendar month, excluding scheduled maintenance we announce in advance and outages caused by your own configuration or content. The remedy for missing that target is to be completed before launch.
8. Your data and backups
Your world files, configuration and databases remain yours. We take scheduled backups as part of the service, but you are responsible for keeping your own copies of anything you cannot afford to lose. After an account is closed we retain server data only as long as needed to complete the closure and meet our record-keeping duties.
9. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or close an account for non-payment or for a breach of section 4. Except where a server is causing active harm, we will give you notice and an opportunity to put it right first. You may close your account at any time.
10. Liability
Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud. Subject to that, the cap on our liability and the excluded categories of loss are to be completed before launch, following legal review.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. Where a change materially affects your rights we will notify you before it takes effect, and it will apply from your next renewal.
12. Governing law and contact
The governing law and the courts with jurisdiction are to be completed. For anything about these terms, open a ticket from your panel or contact us at the address to be published on this page.
